- The OnePlus Open was a rebranded OPPO Find N3.
- The Find N6 hasn’t been officially confirmed by the company yet.

OPPO’s upcoming book-style foldable, the Find N6, has started generating buzz well before its official announcement. While the company hasn’t confirmed the device yet, a new leak suggests that OPPO is quietly preparing for its next major foldable release—and India might be part of that plan.
According to well-known tipster Debayan Roy, the Find N6 has already entered the testing phase in India. This usually indicates that a brand is evaluating a possible launch in the country, as internal testing often happens a few months before rollout. However, Roy also clarified that the India launch is “not confirmed yet,” meaning OPPO has not taken a final call at this stage.
This uncertainty is not surprising, considering OPPO’s history with foldable devices. The company typically develops its foldables primarily for the Chinese market and later decides whether to launch them globally or rebrand them under the OnePlus label.
For example, the OnePlus Open was essentially a rebranded OPPO Find N3 with minor design and software adjustments for international markets. Similarly, the Find N5 was heavily rumoured to launch globally as the OnePlus Open 2, but OPPO eventually dropped the rebranding plan and kept the device exclusive to China.
This time, Roy claims that the Find N6 is unlikely to launch in India under the OnePlus brand. If it comes to India at all, it may arrive directly as an OPPO device. There is also the possibility that OPPO might skip the Indian market entirely, depending on its final strategy.
Overall, the Find N6 entering testing in India is a promising sign, but it does not guarantee a launch. OPPO is likely still evaluating different options—whether to release the device globally, introduce it in India, or keep it exclusive to China like previous models.
