OPPO Find N6 and Find X9 Ultra Launch Timeline Tipped for Early Next Year in China

Highlight

  • The OPPO Find N6 is expected to launch before the Chinese New Year, which will start on February 17, 2026.
  • After that, OPPO may launch the Find X9 Ultra in March 2026.
  • The OPPO Find N6 could become the first foldable phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

The OPPO Find N6 is reportedly being tested in India, but it is likely to launch first in China. A tipster named Smart Pikachu shared this information on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, revealing the expected launch timeline for OPPO’s book-style foldable phone and the OPPO Find X9 Ultra.

The Find X9 Ultra will be the successor to the Find X8 Ultra, which was not launched in India. As of now, there is no confirmation on whether the Find X9 Ultra will be released in India or not.

The OPPO Find N6 could become the company’s first foldable phone in India since the Find N3 Flip, which was launched in 2023. If the rumours are true, the phone may be officially launched around February 17, 2026. A tipster has suggested that OPPO has sped up the development process, which means the device could arrive before the Chinese New Year, a major festival in China that takes place in February.

Based on OPPO’s past launch pattern, the Find N6 may also come to India within one or two months after its global launch. However, OPPO has not confirmed anything officially yet.

At the moment, not much is known about the phone. Still, reports suggest that the OPPO Find N6 could be the first foldable smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The device is also said to be thinner and lighter than regular foldable phones, despite having a large 8.1-inch foldable display and a 6.6-inch cover screen, making it one of the most awaited smartphone launches of next year.

Meanwhile, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra could go official in China in March 2026. This will be the ultra-premium smartphone from the brand, positioned above the Find X9 Pro, which has been launched in India. Expect the smartphone to come with all the flagship bells and whistles.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra has been in the testing phase for some time. Early reports suggest that there are some “surprises” in store for the smartphone’s 6.8-inch 2K LTPO OLED display. Moreover, the smartphone could feature a quad camera system, comprising a 200MP primary sensor, a 200MP mid-telephoto lens, a 50MP ultra-telephoto sensor, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

At its core may lie the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, instead of the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC on the Find X9 and X9 Pro. The battery capacity could be 7,000mAh+. It will be interesting to see the charging speeds on the Find X9 Ultra, which was one of our peeve points on the Find X9 Pro (review). With those specifications, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra could give ultra-flagship smartphones a run for their money if (a big ‘if’) OPPO decides to bring the smartphone to India.
