Launched in India on November 27 at Rs 20,999, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is now available for purchase via Flipkart, Vijay Sales, Croma, and major retail stores. It is the fourth and most affordable Nothing-branded smartphone released in the country this year, joining the Phone (3a), Phone (3a) Pro, and Phone (3). The device carries Nothing’s signature semi-transparent design and shares many features with other Nothing and CMF models launched in 2025.
The Phone (3a) Lite comes in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants, priced at Rs 20,999 and Rs 22,999. It is offered in White, Black, and an India-exclusive Blue colour. Buyers can also get an instant Rs 1,000 discount using ICICI Bank or OneCard during the launch offer period.
Just like its siblings, the highlight of the Phone (3a) Lite is its unique rear design, featuring a small red square, asymmetrically placed cameras, a large rectangular block resembling a TV remote battery compartment, and a bottom-mounted Glyph Light. These elements sit beneath high-grade tempered glass and the device carries an IP54 rating.

The triple rear camera setup includes a 50MP 1/1.57-inch main sensor with EIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. The primary camera is among the largest in this price category, though the more affordable CMF Phone 2 Pro offered a 50MP 2x telephoto lens in place of the macro unit. The rear cameras support video recording up to 4K at 30fps, while the 16MP front camera can shoot up to 1080p at 60fps.
The Phone (3a) Lite is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The performance is adequate for daily tasks and casual gaming, though devices like the Vivo T4 and Moto Edge 60 Fusion still offer slightly stronger performance with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and Dimensity 7400 processors.
The device features a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and 3,000 nits peak brightness. Protection is handled by Panda Glass. This is the same panel used in the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro. The user experience is powered by Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.5, which brings a clean, monochromatic interface across the homescreen, lockscreen, and system apps. With the rollout of Nothing OS 4 having already begun for other models, the Phone (3a) Lite is expected to receive the update soon.

Lastly, there’s a 5,000mAh battery and 33W charging support, but you’ll need to buy the charger separately, since it’s not included in the box. Many smartphones in this segment have started offering battery capacities upwards of 6,000mAh, like the Vivo T4 with a 7,300mAh battery and the Realme 15T with a 7,000mAh battery. The phone also gets an in-display fingerprint sensor and a single bottom-firing speaker.
If you’re on the lookout for a smartphone that stands out from the crowd in terms of look and feel, a close to stock-Android software experience with a twist of minimalism, a decent primary camera, and a large AMOLED display, the Phone (3a) Lite is worth considering. On the contrary, competitors in the Rs 19,000 to Rs 23,000 price bracket may offer better battery endurance, versatile camera capabilities, such as the CMF Phone 2 Pro at Rs 18,999, and higher performance gains for running games at higher graphical settings.
